Source: / 25.09. - Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central in the Central Region, Rachel Appoh has rubbished claims that she has been disqualified from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary race.
She said executives who are claiming she has been disqualified are doing so because they do not understand her open arms policy towards all people irrespective of their party affiliation.

“I have not been disqualified. The only problem I think these executives have with me is that they claim I receive people from various political parties.

“I’m the MP for the constituency and so what crime have I committed when I receive people from all walks of life? I just want to win more votes for my party NDC” she told Captain Smart on Adom FM’s morning show ‘Dwaso Nsem’ Thursday.

Madam Rachel Appoh who was very optimistic of retaining her seat at the parliamentary race called on her supporters to ignore the rumours of her disqualification and work hard to win more votes for President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC in next year's elections.

The MP according to sources is recovering from a life threatening accident she had a few weeks ago.

Meanwhile the NDC has set 7th November, 2015 for both the Presidential and Parliamentary primaries.
