Source: adomonline.com - A six unit classroom GETFUND project is currently at the mercy of the weather at Chemu Senior High School, Tema.

Adom News has learnt that the project has been abandoned for three years.
Headmistress of Chemu SHS, Felicia Asimeng-Kore says completing the project would help ease conditions at the school.

The school’s population now stands at 1,800.

Mrs Asimeng-Kore says Chemu has not seen any major expansion since it was converted from a Junior Secondary School (J.S.S) into Senior Secondary School (S.S.S) in 1982.

Felicia Asimeng-Kore disclosed this in an interview with Adom News when the Tema Development Corporation (TDC) handed over a 21-seater water closet toilet facility constructed at a cost of GHc 405,000 to the school.

"They are so many things the school is lacking though a water closet facility has been handed over to us. We urge other benevolent and other agencies to follow suit” she said.

Meanwhile, Managing Director of TDC, Joseph A. Abbey says the Corporation will assist any school that calls for help.

“We are ready to help any school in need because education is very important in our country” he noted.
