NDC Primaries 2015: 'Apprentice' Sam George Defeats 'Master' E.T Mensah In Ningo-Prampram Race ░▒▓█▀▄▀▄█▓▒░
Source: YEL Ghana - Confirmed results from the Ningo Prampram constituency indicate that Sam George is NDC Parliamentary candidate elect to contest the seat on the ticket of the governing party.
In a victory speech, George said: “I’m extremely grateful. I want ET Mensah to accept me as a son and there is no loser. This is victory for NDC and we’ll deliver it together for John Mahama. We constitute JM 2016. I’ll work with the executives irrespective of whatever happened.”
Ningo-Prampram was tagged as the hottest spot before the November 21 nationwide primaries, and it indeed lived up to the tag with all the drama that unfolded before the voting day.
At the Awhiam polling station for instance, Sam George polled 1146, but ET Mensah polled a paltry 12. At the Lekporwunor polling station, Sam George polled 540 votes with ET Mensah trailing with 40 votes.

The police officers protecting the polls ‘clashed’ with some soldiers who were dispatched to the area by Greater Accra constituency executives of the NDC.
According to the police, the soldiers had no business being present at Ahwiam, the hometown of Sam George.
The confusion on Sunday started few minutes after voting ended around 5:00pm on Sunday. Ningo-Prampram had its election postponed to Sunday following disagreement that erupted on Saturday over the voters’ register.
